2024 Summer Fastpitch Softball
St. Marys Club Fastpitch Softball is again offering our league for Kindergarten, first and second graders! The amount of teams will be determined by the amount of athletes who sign up. All registration will be done online.
Practices start late April and will be 1-2 times per week. Games will be played 1-2 times per week from May 8-June 16. While this is fastpitch softball, it will very much be a learning experience for all of those involved. We will be focusing on fundamentals, pitching mechanics, hitting fundamentals, and learning the game of softball. It is just as important that the players learn the value of teamwork, dedication, hard work and how to have fun while doing all of that!
Games will be played at K.C. Geiger Park. This will be a coach pitch league with 4 inning games. If a player is unable to put the ball in play after 6 pitches, a tee will be brought out. There will be no walks. Outs will still count as outs on the bases.
The cost is $30. This covers the cost of team t-shirts, game balls, and equipment. Online registration is available at smroughridersoftball.net and will need to be followed up with payment (Kendra will contact you about payment after receiving your online registration) Click on the K-2 Grade Division link in the drop down menu for registration.
